Kyle Walker in ‘advanced talks’ with Champions League giants as transfer exit from Man City said to be ‘IMMINENT’

KYLE WALKER is in intensive talks with Bayern Munich, according to reports.

And the £15million transfer deal could be wrapped up imminently for the full-back.

Walker, 33, won the Treble with Manchester City last season to take his trophy haul to 12 at the Etihad.

But his future could be away from the club with his potential exit part of this summer’s turnover.

It is understood Walker is happy in Manchester and keen to extend his stay at the club, with his current contract expiring next year.

But Bild in Germany claim Bayern are deep into negotiations after offering the England international a two-year contract with an option of a third.

The Bundesliga champions would be breaking their own in-house unwritten rule that sees players aged over 30 only offered one-year deals.

Munich boss Thomas Tuchel is said to be a key factor in the process.

Walker was a surprise omission from the starting XI in the Champions League final as City beat Inter 1-0 to complete their historic season.

Walker has also been linked with an emotional return to boyhood club Sheffield United while there may be interest from Saudi Arabia.

And therefore there is still a chance the ex-Tottenham man could put pen to paper on a new deal with Pep Guardiola’s side.
