Pregnant former Hollyoaks actress, Frankie Hough, has died at the age of 38 after being involved in a fatal car accident.
It is being reported that Hough, who played as Jess Holt in the British soap opera, had stopped on the shoulder of a motorway to take a phone call when she was struck and killed by a speeding vehicle.

According to The Mirror the TV star had been travelling with her two sons, Tommy, nine and Rocky, two, as well as her nephew Tobias, four. The children have all been transported to hospital and it is understood that Tommy and Tobias have been put into induced comas.
Hough’s close friend, Debbie Wright has also confirmed that the star was 18 weeks pregnant when the fatal crash occurred.
It is understood that the fatality actually occurred on May 13 but the tragedy has only come to light now after Hough’s costar, Paul Danan posted a touching tribute to the actress on his Instagram:

“I just heard the most shocking and upsetting news I’ve heard in such a long time. Another good good friend who was such a special person has sadly passed away while carrying her unborn baby and her 2 little boys and nephew who were in the car too,” the British actor wrote.
“My heart and prayers goes out to them and the husband who g-d knows how he’s coping right now and also her adorable sisters and parents. May we all come together and do what we can to help and support you. I am truly devastated and hurting more than you know,” the actor added in a separate post.
Since the news of Hough’s tragic death has surfaced, a GoFundMe has been set up for her family. The appeal has so far received over £52,000 (AU$98,000) of its £60,000 (AU$1130,000) target.
