DECLAN RICE is set to become Manchester City’s eighth top earner if he completes a move to the Etihad.
Rice, 24, has been the subject of two bids from Arsenal.

However, City are reportedly interested in Rice as well and are set to match West Ham’s valuation with a £100million bid – trumping Arsenal’s offer of £75m plus £15m in adds on.
The report from the Mirror suggests Pep Guardiola sees Rice as an ideal replacement for Ilkay Gundogan, who is set to join Barcelona.
Personal terms are understood to not be a problem, with City set to match West Ham‘s previous bumper offer to try and keep Rice at the club.
As revealed by chairman David Sullivan, the Hammers slapped a £200,000-a-week contract on the table to try and tempt their skipper into signing an extension 18 months ago.
Rice turned down the offer, seeing him lose £10m in earnings.
But with the Mirror claiming the £200k-a-week terms will not be an issue, it will see Rice move up to eighth in City’s earning table.
Kevin De Bruyne tops the list on double this amount at £400,000-a-week, with 53-goal ace Erling Haaland just behind on £375,000.
Premier League British transfer record Jack Grealish rounds out the top three with a weekly salary of £300k.

Joao Cancelo, who is expected to leave the club this summer, has a wage of £250,000, a figure matched by John Stones.
Academy graduate Phil Foden earns a cool £225,000 per week, with Champions League hero Rodri netting £220,000.
Rice’s contract would then see him squeeze in above defensive duo Manuel Akanji and Ruben Dias.
As well as Rice, City have also reportedly agreed a deal to sign Chelsea’s Mateo Kovacic.
The additions of these midfielders look set to be funded by the departures of Gundogan and Cancelo, as well as Bernardo Silva.
Silva is reportedly edging closer to a transfer to Saudi Arabia, with Jamie Carragher fearing the move will be a “game changer” for the global game of football.
