Taylor Swift’s Australian Eras Tour 2024: Everything you need to know

It’s official: Taylor Swift is bringing her Eras Tour to Australia.

After watching the show tour around North America for the last three months, Australians finally have the chance to see it with their own eyes.

But getting tickets isn’t going to be easy! Swift is only playing shows in two cities, and seats are going to be in high demand.

Read on to learn everything you need to know about the show, and more importantly, how to get tickets.

Which Australian cities is Taylor Swift playing?

In a shock move, Swift is only playing her shows in two cities: Sydney and Melbourne.

The last time she visited Australia, for 2018’s Reputation tour, the singer held concerts in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland.

For her 1989 tour, she also played shows in Adelaide.

The choice to omit so many Australian cities has angered Swift fans, especially as she has announced such a long list of European and North American dates.

When do Taylor Swift tickets go on sale?

The general sale for the Australian dates of the Eras Tour go on sale Friday 30 June – but there are two pre-sales for select groups.

February 16 and 17 – Melbourne Cricket Ground

February 23, 24, 25 – Accor Stadium, Sydney

While other cities haven’t been listed in the schedule, there is a chance more dates could be added nearer to the time, with Swift wrapping up in Japan on February 10 and not travelling to Singapore until March 2.

Is Taylor Swift coming to Perth or New Zealand?

In a shock move, Taylor is only playing in Australia’s two biggest cities. If west coast or Kiwi fans want to see her, they’ll have to travel to Melbourne or Sydney for the show.

Who is Taylor Swift’s support act?

Pop singer Sabrina Carpenter will be touring with Swift for all her international dates, including the Sydney and Melbourne shows.

Swift’s US concert dates have had a variety of different opening acts, including Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, HAIM, and Gracie Abrams.

What songs are on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour setlist?

Swift has made headlines due to the impressive length of her show, which often runs over three-and-a-half hours.

The show is made up of 10 segments, each dedicated to a different era in her music career, and one acoustic set where she plays two surprise songs each night.

It’s unclear whether the international setlist will be the same as the one she’s performed at her US tour dates. Fans can rest assured, though, that she’ll sing all her hits, including Anti-Hero, You Belong With Me, and Cruel Summer.
