HUNDREDS of KIK users are having trouble accessing the messaging app.
Down Detector had a surge in reports little after 11am UK time.
Kik app is apparently down
More than 900 people claimed there are problems with the app.
Fans took to Twitter to find out what’s going on.
Many have said they were randomly logged out of the platform and can’t log back in.
“what’s happening?,” one said.
“Why m i being logged out abruptly? And now I’m unable to login again?”
Another commented: “Same here I saw somewhere they’re resetting the app???”
A third added: “Is kik down ?
“It logged me out and isn’t letting me reconnect.”
Some have managed to log back in but say all their chats and conversations have disappeared.
It’s not clear what has caused the problem.
And it’s not been confirmed how widespread it is as yet.
The WhatsApp rival is thought to have around 2.5 million users worldwide.
