Fuming Man Utd fans say ‘I hate this club’ as Bayern Munich set to HIJACK first major transfer signing

MANCHESTER UNITED fans have reacted furiously after a fresh report claimed that Bayern Munich have hijacked their transfer pursuit of Napoli’s Kim Min-jae.

United have been strongly linked with the 26-year-old South Korean star this summer as Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his defence.

We reported earlier this week that reports in Italy had claimed the Red Devils had won the race for his signature.

They were believed to be ready to meet his £40m release clause and it was also said that Kim had agreed to sign for United and will join the club on July 1.

The report adds that he has “accepted” the club’s contract offer of £9million-per-year, which equals around £175,000-per-week.

However, a fresh update has now emerged from Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, and it is bad news for supporters of United.

He states that Bayern Munich are also willing to pay Kim’s release clause.

Di Marzio added that they are currently in “front” in the chase to sign him with talks between them, the player and Napoli “in progress”.

And United fans vented their fury at that news on Twitter as their frustrations boiled over.

“Shame on you Man Utd,” wrote one.

Another declared “I hate this club” while another claimed that the Red Devils were “finished”.

“United bottling this,” commented another as a fellow supporter added: “So sad our owners really screwed us at least it aint another Prem club tho.”

Kim enjoyed a breakthrough debut season in Italy last term after joining Napoli from Fenerbahce in 2022.

He made 45 appearances as Luciano Spalletti’s side romped to a first Serie A title for 33 years.
