RING fans are rushing to buy a money-saving accessory that’s perfect for the summer months.

Shoppers have spotted the official solar panel is currently half price at B&Q.

The device will charge your battery up meaning you won’t have to remove it and charge indoors as often.

Sunnier countries get the most out of it – but it’s still pretty good in the UK during the hotter periods of the year.

This particular model works with Ring stick-up cameras, not your doorbell.

The Ring Solar Panel usually costs £50 but it’s £25 in B&Q at the moment.

However, stock is low and it’s only available for click and collect, so don’t wait around forever.

Use the stock checker to see if there’s one still available at your local store.

Ring recommends the panel is exposed to at least 2-3 hours of direct sunlight per day for best performance.

Performance is based on device settings, usage, and sun exposure in the area of placement.

So you might struggle in the darker months of winter, but in summer it should definitely work a treat.
