Amazon shoppers rush to buy £100 Ring doorbell dupe now appearing for £70 in basket – and there’s NO subscription fees

MOST people think of Ring or Nest when it comes to video doorbells but there are a load of other brands out there.

Eufy is one alternative households are going for – mainly because of one big money saver.

Unlike its big name rivals, Eufy has no monthly fee for storing videos.

That’s because it cleverly stores footage on an SD card instead.

Just slot it into the Wi-Fi Chime which comes in the package (also an added bonus as others you have to pay for this separately).

Though you will have to buy your own SD card.

The Eufy security S200 Video Doorbell Wireless Battery Kit with Chime usually costs £100 on Amazon.

At the moment it’s down to £78.

But do look for the special £8 off voucher on the product page – it’s only valid until Sunday, June 11 so move fast.

Tick it and the total is brought down to £70.

Much like Ring and Google Nest products, the S200 allows you to talk back to whoever is at your door in real-time.

The video quality is 1080p resolution.

Reviews on Amazon have largely been positive, with a 4.2 rating based on more than 3,500 reviews.

“I’ve had this almost two months now and it works well. Motion detection, connectivity everything works and the battery life after this time is still at 50% (with 3 to 5 notifications per day so obviously, it might be less if there were 50 visitors per day),” one user said.

“My brother has a Ring doorbell and he has to pay monthly subscription to see who was at his own door!

“With this it’s free and is privately stored and in your own possession.”
