FANS have been raving about the “nicest Wetherspoons” in the UK – it’s on the beach and has amazing views.
Wetherspoons pubs are renowned for their cheap and cheerful service but some have other claims to fame.

Pubgoers have described the Spoons as having the nicest views
Some branches are also known for their stunning interiors and interesting locations, which often have great views.
And one pub that could claim to have some of the most amazing beach views is located right next to Blackpool’s South Pier.
Set just metres away from Blackpool Pleasure Beach, holidaymakers have been describing one Wetherspoons as the “nicest” with “beautiful views”.
The pub opened in 2015 and is set across three floors including a bar on each level.
There’s also a beer garden on the ground floor, a balcony on the first floor, and a roof garden on the pub’s highest level.
Meanwhile, the interior decor was inspired by elements from Blackpool’s surroundings like the sea and nearby rollercoasters.
On the ground floor, there’s a wicker statue of a traditional Blackpool entertainer.
While other floors have their own sculptures inspired by the sea and prints and posters depicting Blackpool’s famous sites.
In addition to the fun interior, the restaurant also overlooks the beach and its blue waters.
It has an overall score of 4/5 on TripAdvisor reviews with 3,870 people giving it a rating.
And plenty of people have made reference to the beachfront backdrop too.
One wrote: “Great location on the beach with lovely sunset views.”
A second person said: “The coaster is a great building right on the front. The food is standard Wetherspoons but it’s elevated by the view and lovely surroundings.”
Meanwhile a third added: “This is a nice place to relax and enjoy the sea views.”
Holidaymakers on TikTok have also been raving about the beachfront pub.
TikTok user Heather Ridler, who is known as hevsangels on the social media platform, posted a video of the beach views.
She said: “Look at these views, isn’t it well nice? I’m at the top of the Velvet Coaster in Blackpool.”
Heather captured the rooftop views, which featured beautiful blue skies as well as glimpses of the sea and sand.
Meanwhile in the comments other pubgoers described the views as “beautiful”.
Other visitors have also taken to TikTok to share their experience of dining at the pub.
In another video, Lisa Farrell (@lisa.farrell) wrote: “Check out the nicest Wetherspoons in the UK.”
In the footage, she took users on a tour of the pub.
While she featured the rooftop views, she also showed users around other areas of the pub including the bar and bathroom.
Earlier this year, Sun Online Travel went to the world’s biggest Wetherspoons right on the beach.
And the top 20 Wetherspoons pubs in the UK have been revealed with half of the top spots going to pubs in England.
