The former Manchester United and Real Madrid hero also revealed his dream for the Saudi top flight to become the “fifth” best league in the world.
Ron’s club were pipped to the title by Al-Ittihad, who have been linked with Real striker Benzema.
That deal could see the Real frontman eclipse the Portugal great as the league’s best-paid player.
