Lash tech proudly shows off extensions she’s given to a client – but people say she’s suffering & crying

WHETHER it’s a more natural look or full glam, we all have our preferences when it comes to make-up and lashes.

Like all beauty lovers, this one woman, believed to be from Brazil, is no exception – she loves massive falsies and booked an appointment with an expert to get her fix.

Much to her surprise, people were convinced the young woman was crying in the snapsTikTok/@ciliosdamanoela

Some thought the young client was suffering with the heavy falsies onTikTok/@ciliosdamanoela

Amongst all the gurus out there, Londrina (@ciliosdamanoela) seemed like the best option, as her portfolio is full of thick and glam eyelashes.

Armed with piles of tiny hairs and glue, the whizz then set off to work, the result of which she then proudly shared on TikTok.

In the caption of the clip, Londrina explained she had gone for 20mm lash extensions and that the end look was ”beautiful”.

But much to her surprise, the work was slammed by people on social media, many of whom reckoned the falsies were too intense.

Not only did TikTok fans said the lashes were anything but natural, they also pointed out that the client’s eyes were burning red.

”She looks like she is suffering,” read one of the top comments that’s been like by more than 900 other internet users.

Whilst some simply wondered why would anyone agree on this in the first place, others said it looked as if the woman was in tears.

”she’s crying,” one hater of the work penned.

Someone else ran to comments to warn the client and other beauty lovers, writing; ”Girl be very careful bc these kind of lashes cause major infections specially from those who have no clue how to apply the lashes properly.”

The clip has since taken the social media platform by storm, racking up a whopping 12.2million views and more than 36k comments.

However, Londrina is not the first lash tech to go viral on TikTok for all the wrong reasons – one’s work was compared to spiders.

Lexis, from Maryland, USA, is a beauty specialist who’s taken the internet by storm with her unusually large and fluttery lash extensions.

Although her videos of clients are watched by thousands, one such clip has taken the internet by storm.

In the video, which has been viewed by close to 823,000 TikTok users, Lexis showed off one of her latest creations – a set so thick, it covered all of the client’s eyelid, with some hair reaching the eyebrow area.

This particular set, it appeared, was similar to one which the lash guru charged $100 (£76) for.

While it not may be everyone’s cup of tea, Lexis seems to have a regular stream of clients who request a similar look, as she often shares Before and After clips with people rocking her custom-made strips.

There are also many who’ve showed support to the tech who frequently receives hate from online trolls, with many saying she’s just doing her job.

”Do y’all realize that person asked and paid for her lashes to look like that so obviously she likes them like that,” pointed out one viewer.

Another agreed, adding: ”Her other art is good the girl asked for this.”

However, not everyone shares the same opinion, as a few were convinced most of her clients probably struggle to see through the thick extensions.

”Even if she asked for this I just know this isn’t sanitary. You should’ve talked her down,” thought someone.

”So you seriously like think this is acceptable like be honest,” a critical user wrote, whilst a second commented: ”why do people think these look good?”

”free my people from lash extenstions [sic],” a viewer demanded jokingly.

Although her clients were ready to spend $100 for the fluttery set, trolls said they wouldn’t even consider paying $1 for it.

Others also suggested Lexis to think about a career change, with one writing: ”maybe try being a nail tech…”

”Those look HEAVY. the type of lashes that will cause your natural ones to fall out from preset,” warned one of the viewers.
