Paultons Park, which is home to Peppa Pig World, has been named the best value theme park in the UK
A new study from Touch Casino looked at factors like ticket prices, the cost of car parking as well as the number of attractions to determine the winner.
The study found that Paultons Park was the best value theme park in the UK.
Despite its high entry ticket price (£41.75 for a full-paying adult), the park was praised for its free parking.
Paultons Park features more than 70 rides, including roller coasters, family rides, and attractions.
It is also known for being the home of Peppa Pig World, voted the No.1 theme park on TripAdvisor.
Guests will find Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club, The Queen’s Flying Coach, Grandpa Pig’s Little Train, and Peppa’s Big Balloon in the Peppa Pig World.
Kids can also enjoy play areas, as well as meet and greets with Peppa Pig and George Pig.
Peppa Pig World isn’t the only attraction at Paultons Park, as there’s also Tornado Spring, a world set in a midwest desert resort town in the 1950s.
Other themed worlds include the Lost Kingdom, Critter Creek, and Little Africa.
As well as being named the best value theme park in the UK, Paultons also came in third place in Europe.
And a Peppa Pig World even opened in Florida last year – and we tried it out.
The study revealed other affordable theme parks for families looking for a bargain.
Taking second place was Adventure Island in Southend-on-Sea in Essex.
Even though Adventure Island was the cheapest theme park to enter out of those surveyed (£26 for a full-paying adult), its car parking prices (£17.50) bumped the park down the list.
Home to 36 rides, including five rollercoasters, there’s a bit of something for the entire family.
Coming in at third place was Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
With over 125 attractions, including the recently reopened Valhalla, this theme park is a popular destination thanks to its proximity to the sea.
Even though it has over 100 rides and attractions, the combination of other costs dropped this well-loved theme park down the list.
Car parking for the day starts from £18, and adult entry costs £39, which is bound to make a few wallets sting.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is home to the UK’s tallest rollercoaster, the Big One – those who have a head for heights also walk up the entire 235ft.
Meanwhile, Djurs Sommerland in Denmark was named the best-value theme park in Europe.
