I made £1300 profit flipping family car on Facebook marketplace – and I don’t even have a driving licence

A MAN made more than £1,300 profit flipping a family car on Facebook marketplace and he doesn’t even have a driving licence.

The car enthusiast took to social media to show his followers how he made a big profit after selling a second-hand Renault Scenic online.

He listed the car on Facebook Marketplace for £1,750 and in just three hours managed to sell the Renault for £1,700TikTok

TikTok user @southldncarflipper found a 2005 Renault Scenic on Facebook Marketplace for £500, but he offered the seller £320 because it needed a new MOT.

Days later, the poster put a new MOT on the Renault and paid £20 for a professional wash.

Then, he listed the car on Facebook Marketplace for £1,750 and in three hours, he managed to sell the Renault for £1,700.

The man ended up making a £1,300 profit after selling the second-hand Renault Scenic with 21,747 miles on the clock.

The video has had 6,661 views on TikTok and 15 comments – and users were quick to comment.

One said: “Surely your trade insurance policy, tax on profits and other legitimate business overheads come out of that profit too?”

The poster answered: “I don’t even have a licence.”

Another said: “You’re the exact type of person you should not buy a car from.”

This comes after a car expert claimed that he made more than £5,500 profit flipping a luxury car on eBay – and only took him 24 hours.
