THE date of Frankie Dettori’s final ever ride in Britain has been confirmed.
John Gosden said Dettori, who rode his horse Soul Sister to an emphatic win in the Musidora at York, told him his final meeting here will be on Champions Day.

The blockbuster meeting over one day at Ascot will be on October 21.
Gosden told the ITV cameras: “He is finishing here on Champions Day on October 21, he’s told me that.”
Rumours have swirled that Dettori could go beyond this season – after late last year announcing this would be his final campaign.
Dettori’s last ever ride looks set to come in the Breeders’ Cup in Santa Anita in early November.
However, there is a chance he travels to Australia for the money-spinning Melbourne Cup.
Dettori endured a torrid time with Gosden last year, the iconic duo going through a messy break-up before reconciling.
The jockey, 52, has looked a revitalised character this term.
He was perfect on 2000 Guineas hero Chaldean at Newmarket.
And Arrest has shot to near the top of the Derby betting after his dominant win in the Chester Vase.
Soul Sister was obliterated in the Oaks market following her York victory, crashing from 50-1 into 4s.
If you fancy Frankie to double up on June 2 and 3 then you can back the Arrest/Soul Sister double at 34-1.
