MEGHAN Markle has revealed the moment she met Princess Kate for the first time.
The Duchess of Sussex said she has always been a hugger and “didn’t realise that that was jarring for a lot of Brits”.

She was in ripped jeans and bare foot when the now-Princess of Wales came over for dinner with Prince William.
Meghan said in her Netflix documentary: “Even when Will and Kate came over and I met her for the first time, they came over for dinner.
“I remember I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot.
“I’m a hugger I’ve always been a hugger. I didn’t know that could be jarring for a lot of Brits.
“I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality out on the outside, carried through on on the inside.
“That there is a forward facing way of being then you close the door and you go phew, great we can relax now.
“But that formaility continues on both sides and that was surprising to me.”
It comes as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s bombshell £88m Netflix documentary has been released today.
The couple also released sweet new photos of Archie as a little boy celebrating his birthday.
Meghan and Harry have vowed to tell details of their “love story” in their own words during the six-part show.
In one shock clip, the Duke and Duchess claimed they “weren’t allowed to tell our story” while working members of the royals.
Members of the Royal Family have thus far declined to comment to Netflix about the shock show.
The first three episodes were released today, with the other three due out next week.
Two teaser trailers have already caused a stir at the Palace and caused a “fakery” storm.
