THIS year’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is hanging in the balance after severe weather caused the Imola circuit to flood.
The north-Italian region has taken a battering from adverse weather conditions – meaning this Sunday’s Emilia Romagna GP could be in doubt, with all staff being told to currently stay away from the track until further notice.
Yesterday circuit bosses evacuated the paddock due to flood risks.
The main F1 paddock is currently ok, but some other areas are flooded, according to the BBC.
More rain is also scheduled to hit today after Tuesday night’s deluge -just a day before the drivers are scheduled to arrive at the track on Thursday for the weekend’s action.
