CONOR MCGREGOR claimed “I’ve woken up as my younger self” as he shared a snap of his young boy – who looks the exact double of himself as a kid.

He appears to be closing in on a return to the octagon with a potential bout against Michael Chandler.

A date for McGregor‘s eagerly-anticipated clash with Chandler has yet to be announced.

But footage of Notorious SHOVING the American has been released ahead of the return of The Ultimate Fighter.

The lightweight standouts coached opposite one another on season 31 of the long-running reality TV show – which was filmed in Las Vegas earlier this year.

The Notorious never holds back when it comes to his UFC rivals, but shows a softer side with his kids.

And away from the spotlight, the Irishman loves nothing more than spending time with his fiancée Dee Devlin and their children, Conor Jr, who turns six this month, Rían, who is two, and middle child Croia, four.

And he shared an adorable snap of Conor Jr today on Instagram which strikes an incredible resemblance to previous photos the superstar has posted of himself as a youngster.

He captioned it with: “Omg you guys I’ve just woken up as my younger self!”

McGregor has previously stated that he believes his sons Conor Jr and Rian will continue his fighting name.

Ever since Jr was born in 2017, the youngster has been a regular fixture in McGregor’s training team.

The former two-weight UFC champion often shares adorable snaps of his eldest copying him in the gym and he now has two boys who could potentially follow in his footsteps.

The Irish superstar was quizzed on Conor Jr possibly taking up MMA as a career when he is older, to which he responded in a Twitter Q&A: “That kid of mine is going to do whatever he wants in this world.

“I will support him all the way tho whatever he chooses! I feel he will do it tho. I feel his younger brother Rían will also.

“Interesting times ahead. I will be happy just as long as they are happy.”
