A MUM was left both baffled and furious when a stranger stole her child’s sunbed on holiday.
Natalie Kempson and her son were using the loungers by the side of the pool when the youngster decided to go for a swim.

As soon as the kid jumped in the pool, the man made use of the empty bed by stealing it for himself.
Natalie (@nat543) couldn’t quite believe what was happening and so filmed the man who stole the bed, sharing the footage on Tiktok.
In the video, she said: “When you are a single mum and your sun leaves his sun lounger to go in the pool”.
The video shows a man brazenly sat on the bed next to hers, even though her son’s towel is clearly still on it.
The footage has been seen more than 14,000 times since it was shared last month, with other people just as staggered as Natalie.
One wrote: “Imagine going to sit on a sun lounger when there’s already someone’s stuff on it.”
Another joked: “He’s all yours, have a good holiday.”
Sunbed wars are becoming a common sight this year, as they are most summers, with holidaymakers battling it out for the best spots by the side of the pool.
Some were even filmed scrambling for beds at a resort in Tenerife last month before 8am.
Tiktoker Thomas Clifford (@thomaswclifford) captured the footage during his holiday and shared it online.
In the video, people are seen queueing up around the pool, before darting towards the best spots, to make sure they get their towels down.
The footage starts with a close-up of Thomas’ watch, revealing that the charge towards the sunbeds is taking place at 7.47am.
There are rules for reserving sun loungers that should be followed.
Etiquette expert William Hanson revealed how long it’s okay to reserve a lounger for.
If you wait too long, it could be acceptable for someone else to remove your towel and take over the lounger.
He told the Mirror: “Reserving sun loungers with a towel for longer than 30 minutes is a big no-no, beyond that grace period it’s first come first served.”
Some hotels don’t allow holidaymakers to reserve sun loungers with towels.
Staff at a hotel in Tenerife were caught removing them after cheeky tourists had dumped their belongings and left.
Meanwhile, holidaymakers have even taken to reserving spots on the ground at some resorts.
And It is also always worth checking to see if the hotel has its own individual policy on reserving sun loungers.
