Customers hoping to save cash over the Bank Holiday have been left out of pocket instead when they were unable to redeem discount vouchers.

Tesco Clubcard points can be swapped for vouchers that give you money off at pubs and restaurants.
But dozens of annoyed shoppers using the new Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app were unable to get them, landing some with a surprise bill.
One diner eating out at Pizza Express was forced to pay nearly £100 bill out of pocket when his coupons failed to appear.
Complaining to Tesco on social media, he said: “I ordered over £75 worth of Pizza Express vouchers this evening and nearly two hours later they are still saying pending.
“We had to pay our bill at the restaurant in full as they didn’t come through. Please can you credit the vouchers back to my account?”
Another was hit with a £70 bill unexpectedly at the same food chain.
They said: “Yes same here, Pizza Express treat after changing up £70 of vouchers still pending three hours later.
“Just had to pay the full bill which I really could’ve done without!”
Many reported waiting hours or even days for the discount to come through.
One said: “Been an hour now please help! The family have gone and I’m sat here waiting for the rewards to come through!”
Another Tweeted: “I requested Clubcard vouchers over and hour ago and am sat in the pub waiting to pay my bill with them!”
Tesco shoppers can convert their loyalty points for triple the value for restaurants like Pizza Express and Zizzi, as well as theme parks and days out.
Customers have also reported issues with getting the vouchers for Chef and Brewer pubs and Eurostar, which are also part of the reward scheme.
One said: “I’ve exchanged my Clubcard vouchers for the Euro Tunnel and it still says pending after four days!”
The Sun has contacted Tesco for comment and to ask if the issue has been resolved – we will update this story when we hear back.
Tesco scrapped its former Clubcard app a few weeks ago to make way for its new combined grocery platform.
A Tesco spokesperson said the new Grocery & Clubcard app is the “easiest way to make the most” of Clubcard offers.
A major change coming next month will see the value of points redeemed for the rewards slashed from three times the value to just double.
Customers wishing to avoid the points devaluation for as long as possible can do so by ordering partner codes before June 14.
These codes will still be worth the current rate and shoppers will have 12 months from their issue to redeem them.
How does the Tesco Clubcard scheme work?
Tesco’s Clubcard was launched in 1995, allowing shoppers to earn points as they shop which can then be turned into vouchers for money off food or other partner schemes.
Each time you spend £1 in store and online, you get one point when you scan your card or app.
You also get one point for every £2 spent on fuel.
One point equals 1p, so 150 points gets you £1.50, for example.
You’ll need a minimum of 150 points to request a voucher.
Once you have enough points, you can turn them into vouchers worth the face value to spend in store at Tesco, or you can currently triple their worth to spend at reward partners, including restaurants, and on days out.
Clubcard holders also get cheaper prices on some items compared to those without the loyalty card.
