Handily, TikTok user @chegeceping has shared secret features that most drivers don’t know about.
The poster titled the video: “90% of the people don’t know the hidden function of the car. Very helpful for you!”
He started the video: “The sun visor can not only block the sun in front, but it can also block the sun from the side.
“Don’t panic if your brakes fail while driving. Pull the electric handbrake switch with your hands and keep it tight. The vehicle will stop steadily.”
Another hidden feature in your car is a handle that is used to adjust the steering wheel and it’s under the steering column (right below the wheel).
He continued, explaining more about other features: “Hold down the lock button (on the key fob) and keep it on. All the windows of the car can be raised automatically.”
“There’s a child safety look on the rear door. Turn it with a key – and the child can’t open the car door from the inside.”
The TikToker also went on to explain that if you press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob at the same time for five seconds, only the left front door will open.
He continued: “If you’re stuck in the car and can’t get out, don’t worry. Hold this button on the seat and the rear seats can be folded down.
“Then, climb into the boot. Do you see it? This is the boot. There’s a small plastic cover on the boot door. Let’s tap lightly in the direction of the arrow.
“You can open the truck for emergency escape.”
