Sky customers are just realising there’s a hidden TV trick that instantly improves your box

EVERYONE has their favourite channels and the order on your TV may not reflect that.

But Sky customers are realising they can actually re-arrange their channel numbers – sort of.

It’s actually done by setting favourites, which mean the unoccupied numbers between 1 and 99 are filled with the stuff you want first and foremost.

So, no more BBC One at the top if it’s not your cup of tea.

Instead you can make ITV1 your number one, for example.

The choice is yours.

And it’s really easy to set up, whether you’re on Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream.

How to re-arrange the channels on Sky

You can’t officially re-arrange the channels on Sky but you can create favourites which come ahead of everything else.

You can do this by going to the Settings first of all.

On Sky Q, scroll to Favourites, then select Setup favourites.

On Sky Glass, find Viewing Preferences, then you’ll see favourites.

It’ll show a list of suggested channels based on what you’ve been watching previously.

You can choose to Change list where you can add or remove some.

When you’re happy with the selection, click on Save list.

You can then re-order the list if you would like.
