Developed in partnership with Merlin, Magic Light and Blackpool Council, the Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse will be an indoor playhouse with seven rooms.

The Deep, Dark Wood Adventure Play will let you greet Mouse at the secret entrance before exploring the forest-themed play area.

Guests can meet with Snake, Owl and Fox at the Deep, Dark Wood Soft Play zone, featuring net bridges and spinning walls.

At Zog’s Dragon School Challenge, kids can meet Zog and fly like a dragon, before capturing Princess Pearl, or head to the beach with the Snail and the Whale Seaside Play.

Younger guests can head to the Room on the Broom Toddler Play, meeting Witch, Cat, Dog Bird and Frog in the soft play zone.

Kids who want something quieter can head to the Gruffalo’s Child Sensory Room, which is a night-time sensory playroom with soft seats and lighting.

There is also a gift shop too, with toys and books featuring all the characters and a Woodland cafe with snacks and a Costa.

Kate Shane, regional director for Merlin Entertainments, said: “We are incredibly excited to bring some of the UK’s best-loved children’s characters to Blackpool.”
