Major fashion retailer to close 38 stores this week before all 170 branches shut forever – see full list

A MAJOR fashion retailer has confirmed that a further 38 stores are set to close their doors this week.

M&Co will be bringing the shutters down on all of its 170 locations this year.

So far, 94 M&Co stores have already disappeared from the high street.

It comes after the brand fell into administration last year and administrators at Teneo put the bust business up for sale with an auction deadline for interested buyers.

M&Co’s brand and intellectual property was sold to Yours Clothing but the stores weren’t and are set to close.

The Sun can now reveal the exact dates that 38 more shops will be closing forever.

The closures have been confirmed on each store’s Facebook page, as well as on Google.

One store in Bexhill wrote: “Please keep on supporting us until we close our doors as we would love to see you and serve you till the end.”

While another in Alnwick posted: “It’s with great sadness to say M&Co Alnwick will close their doors on Saturday, April 22.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to ALL OUR CUSTOMERS who have supported us throughout this difficult time.”

Teneo, M&Co’s administrator, previously said that further stores will begin to vanish from the high street as store stock dries up.

But the administrator wouldn’t provide an exact date when it expects the brand to completely exit the high street.

M&Co has been running a huge up to 80% off closing down sale in stores in recent months to help shed remaining stock.

Shoppers need to act fast to take advantage of the discounts because once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Always remember you might find that your closest store doesn’t have what you want in stock.

You can find your closest M&Co store by visiting the retailer’s website and using the store locator tool.

We’ve listed all of M&Co’s stores that will close their doors for good this week.
