Big burger brand and McDonald’s rival is making a change to menus – but you need to be quick

AN iconic burger brand and McDonald’s rival is making a change to its menu, and customers will need to be quick.

Wendy’s, an American fast good giant, is bringing its famous “Biggie Meal Deal” to the UK.

The meal deal comes complete with a spicy chicken sandwich, classic chicken nuggets, small fries and a small drink.

It’ll cost customers £7.99 in store, or £9.99 if they order online, though not every location will offer it on delivery.

But there is a catch as the Biggie Meal deal will only run for a short amount of time and chicken fans will need to be quick.

It’s available for shoppers to order in store and will leave the UK on June 2.

Delivery will be available across Greater London, Manchester and Birmingham and fans have an even shorter timeframe to get their orders in.

Customers have until April 16 to place their order on Deliveroo or April 17 via Uber Eats.

Wendy’s is an American fast-food chain, which is quite new to the UK. The first restaurant opened in the UK in 2021.

Wendy’s made its return to the UK during the summer of 2021, by opening its first branch in Reading.

One TikTkoker went to the first ever drive-thru, which opened in January this year, and shared her thoughts on social media.

However, it’s not the first time that Wendy’s has tried to break into the UK. The last branch closed its doors back in 2001.

The chain was founded in 1969 by Dave Thomas in Columbus, Ohio.

The company has more than 6,800 restaurants across the world, employing hundreds of thousands of workers.

If you’re a fast food lover, then you might know about this McDonald’s trick that another TikTok star shared not long ago.

Fast food lover Erin shared a TikTok video of her turning her vanilla milkshake into coffee by adding a shot of espresso.

McDonald’s aficionados will already know about this trick as it isn’t new.

But fans were going wild with one commenting on Erin’s video: “Why did I never think of doing this with my drink!”

While another said: “Vanilla milkshake with espresso is my favourite ever!”

Another added: “This is an elite Maccies order.”

An espresso sets you back 79p at McDonald’s, and £1.79 for a medium milkshake.
