A MOTORIST was told to abandon his broken down Mercedes at a service station after the RAC said they might not pick it up – for THREE days.
Actor and TikTok star Adam Oakley was told to hide his car keys on the wheel arch after the motor’s coolant pipe cracked.

The breakdown firm left him waiting for over nine hours promising a hire car but then said they didn’t have one and advised he get a taxi home.
He finally arrived home 16 hours after his first call for help to the RAC.
Adam was told to leave his keys on the Mercedes’ wheel arch after the call operator admitted it could take up to three days for a pick-up truck to arrive.
He shared two videos ranting about the RAC with his 267,000 TikTok followers.

Adam said: “They said ‘you need to leave your car in the service station where it is for us to come and get it but we might not be able to come and get it for the next two or three days.
“Just leave them [the keys] on the wheel arch of your car’.
“Now, I drive a Mercedes, who in their right mind is going to leave their car keys on the wheel arch of their car in a service station car park for everybody to see for three days?”
The actor and ghost hunter was driving home to Norwich, Norfolk, on Monday when he broke down at Beaconsfield services, Buckinghamshire.
A mechanic was promised to arrive to fix the Mercedes within 30 minutes, but Adam says he waited four hours for the man to turn up.
The mechanic was unable to fix the Mercedes’ cracked coolant pipe and said a pick-up truck would collect the car and drive him home.
After five hours Adam received a call from the RAC saying it was not possible to collect his vehicle and said they would organise a hire car.
Several hours later he found out the hire car was unavailable and was forced to get a £210 Uber to drive him 150miles to Norwich – arriving home 16 hours after his car broke down.
Adam claims an RAC call operator hung up on him when he complained and refused to leave his keys on the wheel arch.
He said: “His exact words to me were ‘if you are not happy with doing that, then that is the end of the conversation’, and hung up.”
Actor Adam has made appearances in Eastenders as Lee Watson and appeared in Noel Clarkes’ film ‘Brotherhood’.
He also organises ghost trips as a paranormal investigator.
The Sun previously told how Adam spent £6 on clip-in veneers from Amazon and was left in hysterics by how them made him look.
After posting two videos on TikTok the RAC delivered the car to his house the next day.
The RAC blamed a ‘busy Easter weekend’ for the blunder, apologised and will pay Adam back his £210 Uber fee.
They promised to give him a hire car until his Mercedes is fixed.
A spokesman said: We’d like to apologise to Adam for the delay in getting his car recovered and the lack of updates from our team.
“Unfortunately, due to the busy Easter weekend there was a shortage of long-distance recovery trucks in that area.
“Our call centre agent should not have told him to leave his keys on the wheel.
“To say sorry, we’ve agreed a suitable gesture of goodwill with Adam and arranged a hire car to keep him mobile.”
