VINCENT KOMPANY guided Burnley straight back to the Premier League with seven games left after a stirring 2-1 win at Middlesbrough.
Ashely Barnes and Connor Roberts struck in each half for the jubilant, with Chuba Akpom hitting a temporary penalty equaliser for play-off hopefuls Boro.

Third-placed Luton were held 0-0 at Millwall – leaving the Clarets needing a victory they earned reasonably comfortably.
But six minutes into stoppage time Akpom headed inches wide for Boro.
Promotion rewarded Burnley’s bold choice in appointing Manchester City legend Kompany last summer after he previously managed Anderlecht.
The Clarets lead the Championship by 11 points from Sheffield United.
And the Blades should keep hold of the second automatic promotion spot.
Friday’s 1-0 win over Wigan lifted them eight points above Luton in third.
