Check out custom camper with real ‘zombie-killer vibe’ – it’s perfect for living off-grid, but price is eye-watering

A van conversion company has come up with a stunning, if slightly different style of camper, as a special one-off design – although it could cost you a hefty £200,000.

The ‘Apocalypse Mobile’ is based on a Mercedes Sprinter model, and has undergone a high-end transformation with luxury fittings included as well as some more rugged, practical touches.

First up, and the most noticeable extra from the outside, is the huge angled bumper that’s just what you need to stay safer and keep any stray zombies at bay.

The impressive-looking camper also comes with a winch, a huge rack and solar panels to help top up the onboard power system.

Finished in black with a grey wrap the van looks suitably rugged, with off-roader upgrades to its suspension, wheels and tyres, reports autoevolution.com.

Don’t be fooled, though, by its robust exterior looks.

Inside, the conversion has a luxury feel, with professional woodworkers involved in the crafting of the fixtures and fittings.

There’s Teak flooring throughout, while the ceiling is covered in Western Red Cedar wood.

A huge chest freezer is housed under a bench, and you’ll also find an integrated sliding composting toilet – so no midnight runs to the loo.

And, of course, the high-end camper also has its own shower space.

The company behind the stunning design is landshipcustoms.com, and they’ve certainly gone the extra mile with this one.

You won’t have to worry about staying warm or feeling too hot, as the onboard systems adjust automatically depending on your altitude (up to 10,000 feet) and the cooling system can run for 13 to 14 hours non-stop.

Fresh drinking water won’t be a problem, either, as the van has a 32-litre tank, a separate hot water tank, and its own filtration system.

Company boss, Shane Wright and his team, designed and built the ‘Apocalypse Mobile’ as a custom project for a specific buyer, but the owner has now decided to sell it on.

With around 11,000 miles on the clock and an active warranty, the premium camper is estimated to be worth around £200,000.
