MEN report Solskjaer is currently a youth team manager at hometown club Kristiansund BK in Norway.

But he could reportedly follow in the footsteps of Scott Parker by taking a job with Belgian outfit Club Brugge.

Solskjaer is on the club’s shortlist, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

The club are still on the lookout for a replacement after sacking Parker last month.

Parker, 42, was sacked in March after winning just two out of his 12 games in charge.

Bruge, currently fifth in the Belgian Pro League, are also said to be interested in former Celtic boss Ronny Deila.

The Norwegian is currently manager at Standard Liege.

Dino Toppmoller, who was Julian Nagelsmann’s assistant at Bayern Munich, is another on Brugge’s shortlist.
