JAMES TRAFFORD has revealed he denied Pep Guardiola from the penalty spot – and had a laugh with the Man City boss afterwards.
The Manchester City youngster recently won his first piece of silverware while on loan at Bolton Wanderers.

Trafford kept a clean sheet in the EFL Trophy final, making a crucial save to deny Ryan Hardie as Bolton went on to beat Plymouth Argyle 4-0.
This is the shot-stopper’s second loan spell at Bolton and he’s quickly become a fan favourite.
Trafford, 20, has already made history playing in the sticks during Bolton’s record-breaking nine consecutive home fixtures without conceding a single goal.
He currently has the second most clean sheets across the top four English divisions, keeping four in his first four games to break the club record.
But the England Under-21 keeper has impressed Man City boss Pep Guardiola at his parent club too.
Trafford demonstrated his quality during a post-training penalty shootout in 2020.
The youngster said: “I like to have a bit of banter and Pep was taking a penalty and he said, ‘You can have anything you want if you save it.’
“I said, ‘Can I start on the weekend?’

“He was laughing but I saved it! I didn’t start unfortunately.”
Trafford has travelled to Wembley before, during City’s Carabao Cup semi-final victory against local rivals Manchester United.
He made the City bench in this match as a last-minute replacement for second choice Scott Carson, who had contracted Covid.
