LIVERPOOL manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he used the international break to hold “positive talks” ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
The Reds are currently embroiled in the battle for Champions League qualification.

But as things stand they are seven points adrift of the top four with 11 games remaining.
Despite his rocky season so far, Klopp already has his sights set on the future.
During his press conference on Friday, he admitted that the club used the international break to put plans in place ahead of the summer.
He said: “It was good. The players I couldn’t plan training sessions as we didn’t know who was here, so yes (I did use it as time to get prepared for next season).
“Player side, positive. There are talks, but no decisions. We are busy as you can imagine.”
Liverpool are expected to undergo a rebuild in the summer as they look to bounce back to the top of the Premier League.
And several transfer targets have already been established.
Jude Bellingham is understood to be at the top of Klopp’s transfer wishlist going into the summer window.

However, the Reds will have to table a huge bid to sign him.
Borussia Dortmund reportedly want at least £110million for the England midfielder.
So if Liverpool did decide to match that price, it would make Bellingham a Premier League record signing.
However, they could seek a cheaper alternative with Mason Mount set to be available.
Klopp is understood to be a huge admirer of the £70m-rated Chelsea star.
