Ronaldo became the highest-capped men’s international player of all time and scored twice in the 4-0 win over Liechtenstein on Thursday.
He also netted another brace in Sunday’s 6-0 victory over Luxembourg.
However, with Portugal already 4-0 up the 38-year-old former Manchester United star was booked for simulation.
The Al-Nassr ace theatrically took a tumble after nutmegging Luxembourg defender Maxime Chanot.
The referee didn’t buy it and duly yellow carded Ronaldo for diving.
Footage of the incident was posted to Twitter, and some fans turned on the forward for his antics.
One blasted: “Embarrassing player.”
Another wrote: “He’s so shameless.”
