The French prospect signed a six-year deal with Chelsea in January but has remained with Lyon on loan for the remainder of the season.

After he picked up his injury, the Ligue 1 side’s manager Laurent Blanc down-played its seriousness saying Gusto had “a discomfort that needed care.”

The player was then flown to London for care on February 13 at Chelsea‘s medical center, according to Le Progres.

The report also suggests that his club have received very little information about his recovery.

Blanc has been suggested to be keen on an update on the player and if he will be available before the international break starts on March 20.

The former France coach would be keen to have the player to pick from in the club’s Coupe de France semi-final in Nantes on April 5.

The 19-year-old is also believed to have been at Stamford Bridge last night to watch Chelsea progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Goals from Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz were enough to overturn a one-goal deficit from the first leg in Dortmund.
