CHELTENHAM Festival and DJ Cuddles have teamed up to release a mindblowing dance remix of racing’s most famous roar.
The completely unique track – titled Re-Roar – features commentary from Ian Bartlett throughout and is 3-1 to crack the top 10.
The Jockey Club released the three-minute toe-tapper on Tuesday, one week before racing’s biggest meeting kicks off with the traditional cheer that greets runners in the Supreme.
DJ Cuddles, a huge hit in the British clubbing scene, posted a sample of the clip online.
He said: “So here’s a new one. I got asked to make a track for Cheltenham Festival.
“Sampling their crowd noises and famous Cheltenham roar.”
His track will be played next Wednesday as part of a two-hour live set in the Best Mate Pavilion at the track.
Cheltenham boss Ian Renton said the release was a ‘dance anthem like no other’.

And he said he hopes the banging beat helps bring a whole new crowd into racing.
He said: “We’ve really enjoyed teaming up with DJ Cuddles to create the Roar Remix.
“It’s a dance anthem like no other, which takes the famous Cheltenham roar from race track to club track.
“The roar is widely celebrated among racing fans and now, we want to bring this iconic tradition to the masses.
“We hope it will encourage new audiences to engage with horseracing, while celebrating our existing fanbase and the institution that Cheltenham Festival has become.”
A summary of the song on Soundcloud added: “Cheltenham Festival’s rapturous roar – a tradition that sees over 65,000 racegoers cry out in unison as the first tape goes up – has been reimagined as a toe-tapping techno track that fuses melodic electronic beats with familiar sounds of the racecourse.”
William Hill went 3-1 for the track to get into the top 10 of the UK singles chart.
Spokesperson Lee Phelps, said: “We’re not sure the Roar Remix is going to knock Miley Cyrus off top spot.
“But it’s something fun and fresh and, if the racing fraternity get fully behind it, then it might sneak a Top 10 spot, which we’ve priced at 3-1.”
