The 30-year-old’s TaylorMade TP5x, marked with two Ks, was unmissable but he opted to wait a little longer before officially capping off his victory.
There was immediately an immense reaction on social media from fans praising the American’s decision.
Paige was also impressed with Kitayama’s move.
The social media sensation shared an image of the golfer marking his ball just an inch away from the hole before sealing his glory.
Paige added the following caption: “Marking this is such a power move.”
Kitayama was absolutely elated even before tapping the ball in for victory.
The World’s No19 didn’t realise he was finally winning his first PGA Tour until he marked the ball.
Kitayama said: “When I marked it and walked over to Tim [his caddie] and just, like, a big sigh of relief, really, you know, that this was really happening.”
Paige continues to watch all the live golf action and shares her views with her hundreds of thousands of followers on social media.
But of course the American beauty adds a little spice to her content.
Paige has also recently created her own website – called OnlyPaige in a cheeky reference to OnlyFans – where she has taken social media by storm with a series of steamy posts.
