Jones, 35, tipped the scales at a whopping 248lbs – a staggering 44lbs heavier than he was ahead of his last fight three years ago.
Bones’ lean and mean frame has been replaced by a muscular and thicker physique, which MMA fans were quick to comment on.
One said: “Jon just has the frame, still solid form IMO.”
And another said: “Jon ‘Thickums’ Jones.”
One remarked: “Hulk.”
Another chimed in: “Jones looks strong as f**k.”
One avid UFC fan said: “Jon has the absolute max amount of mass his frame can carry on to get to where Gane sits comfortably.”
SunSport revealed Jones was consuming a whopping 4500 calories on training days to transform his frame into that of a heavyweight.

And he reached a whopping 267lbs at the peak of his body transformation.
He told SunSport at the UFC 285 media day: “A few months ago, I got up to 267lbs.
“But I felt a little more bloated and I didn’t like my endurance at that weight.”
“I plan on competing right around, anywhere between, 245 and 250lbs.”
Jones’ new frame has translated to a huge increase in strength.
He said: “I ended up off training camp bench pressing 315 (143kg) for five [reps].
“Deadlifts was about 640lbs and my squat was about 500lbs, maybe 520lbs, somewhere around there.
“Towards the end, I wasn’t going for big numbers.
“I was just going for explosiveness and muscular endurance.
“But I’ve got pretty strong over the last three years.”
