Former two-division champion McGregor is set to return to the octagon later this year in a blockbuster showdown against Michael Chandler.
The lightweight standouts will collide after coaching season 31 of the Ultimate Fighter in Las Vegas.
A date for the barnburner, however, has yet to be finalised as McGregor is currently out of the United States Anti-Doping Agency’s testing pool.
The Dubliner needs to be in the pool for atleast six months before he’s eligible to compete, meaning September is currently the earliest he can return.
McGregor is excited to throw down with fellow fan favourite Chandler, recently telling The Mirror: “[I’m] Looking forward to it, looking forward to it.
“I feel good, feel energetic, feel ready.
“I’m throwing out my high kicks faster than I’m throwing out my jab. I’m every excited.”
