Millions of iPhone owners are just realising there’s an important setting to check now – it could cost you

THERE’S nothing worse than being charged for something and not remembering where it came from.

It may be something you forgot you signed up to on your iPhone.

Check the subscriptions on your iPhone

That could be a subscription to an app.

Fortunately, there’s a quick and easy way to check.

And you can cancel the subscription instantly to prevent any further payments.

To do it, start by opening your Settings.

Tap your name.

Find Subscriptions.

Here, you’ll find a list of active subscriptions.

Open any you no longer wish to pay for.

You’ll then be able to cancel it by hitting the Cancel Subscription button.

You can usually continue using the service for the duration of that period.

So if it’s a monthly subscription, you’ll be able to keep using the app until the date it was supposed to renew.

Apple makes this clear to you, stating when the subscription will expire in red.

If you only intend to subscribe for a free trial, this is essential.

So always do it straight away – as you risk forgetting.
