Outlook users complain site is BROKEN as their inboxes are flooded with spam

IF you’ve noticed a lot more spam in your Outlook inbox than usual then you’re not alone.

Users across the world are convinced the site is broken after finding their account “flooded” with scammy emails in the last 24 hours.

It’s not clear what has happened and how widespread it is.

But it looks like Microsoft’s spam filter has mysteriously stopped working.

And many aren’t happy about it.

“Sooo, anyone else suddenly have their email in-box FLOODED with spam the last 24 hours?” one frustrated user said.

“Normally get 3-4 a day, no big deal. Now, I’m getting about 30 every hour?”

Another tweeted: “All day I have been getting a tonne of spam into my #Outlook feed inbox.

“Junk filter not working @Outlook – what is going on?”

A third joked: “Apparently @Outlook is taking today off from filtering spam.”

Is Outlook down?

People are still able to access their inboxes as normal at the moment.

However, many have reported that their account is filled with spam emails.

These are usually filtered out by Microsoft’s software and prepared for deletion in a separate spam folder.

It would appear this feature is broken.

Microsoft is yet to confirm that it is an official problem.
