WHATSAPP has revealed it is working on a hefty new feature, just days after introducing fresh tricks for Android users.
The messaging app, used by an eyewatering 2billion people, has had its ear to the ground in recent months to haul in the features everyone’s been asking for.

The latest feature will let users share documents of up to 2GB in size – the equivalent of a presentation sheet.
It’ll have those who use WhatsApp for work leaping for joy.
And even those friends and family members who are known for their meticulous holiday planning.
The feature is still under development, however.
It’s not even ready to be released to its handful of beta testers yet.
But there is one tip WhatsApp users should know before trying it out.
WiFi connection is highly recommended to share large documents quickly, according to experts at beta testing site WeBetaInfo.
This can avoid draining mobile data, like 3G or 4G – which can be costly.
There’s more…
WhatsApp earlier this week unveiled a raft of new features as it continues to outpace rival messaging apps.
However, this latest set of features is for Android users only, as WhatsApp is still fine tuning how they will operate on Apple’s iOS system, which is used by all iPhones.
Android users can now add captions when sending documents.
They can add lengthier (and funnier) descriptions of their group chats.
Users can also send up to 100 photos and videos at a time – much more than the previous 30-strong limit.
This feature is a must-have for holiday goers and party-havers.
