Francis Ngannou agrees to Tyson Fury fight in cage with Mike Tyson as special guest referee in bizarre clash

And The Predator has no qualms with Fury’s ruleset for a freak show fight – which he wants to be reffed by boxing legend Mike Tyson.

Ngannou agreed to the WBC heavyweight champion’s stipulations for the bout on Twitter, posting a tick next to each of the requirements.

Before signing off the quote tweet as the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’, he asked Fury: “What else?”

Fury revealed his willingness to face vicious knockout artist Ngannou last month while lamenting the delay in finalising his historic clash with Usyk.

He said: “If the contract doesn’t get signed with Usyk next for the fight of the century in boxing, then we’ll do the Ngannou fight.

“If these fellas don’t come up and sign the contract for the big fight, then we’re moving on to greener pastures.”

Ngannou, 35, officially became a free agent last month after failing to come to terms over a new contract with the UFC.

And the former refugee is confident a shock fight with the undefeated Fury could materialise.

He told Canal Afrique: “Let me remind you that Tyson Fury and I have been warming up on social media for more than two years.

“Obviously, we all need this fight. It’s been long enough.

“Hopefully we have the possibility of dotting the I’s.”

He will likely, however, have to wait to get his hands on Fury is seemingly on course to face Usyk in April.

Promoter Frank Warren said: “The fight will 100% take place on the last Saturday in April.

“Where it takes will be determined within the next six or seven days.”

“If we can’t do what we’re being asked to for Tyson and Usyk, then the fight will take place in the UK and we’ll have time to promote it and so forth.”

“If it goes to the Middle East, it’s because they will pay a premium for the World Cup of boxing.”
