The team at Dick Lovett explained: “If you’re having trouble finding your car in a busy car park or are unsure where you parked it.

“You can place the car key fob on your chin in order to increase the range of the car-retrieval signal.

“Effectively, your head turns into an antenna.

“As the head contains fluid, it means it’s actually a great conductor and will increase the range of the remote’s signal.”

After pressing the unlock button, you can look out for your car’s headlights to flash showing it’s unlocked.

The bright lights will signal where your motor is – making it easier to track down.

The experts have also shared a few tips to de-ice your windscreen faster this winter.

They say: “When your windshield has frosted over, you should put your sun visor down while de-icing.

“It stops the airflow and therefore means the windshield defrosts faster.”

And their final tip was another way drivers could use their keys.

Holding the unlock button down opens the windows on your car, while holding down the lock button closes them.

This is ideal during warmer months to avoid getting straight into a hot car.

The hack works on many different models and isn’t limited to one manufacturer.

The car experts explained: “All you’ll need to do is hold down the unlock button on the key fob, and your car windows will begin to roll down whilst you stand outside the vehicle.

“For some cars, you may be required to hold down the unlock button once, release, and then hold it down again before it will work.”
