And thousands of fans tracked a private jet, thought to be carrying Sabitzer, as it made its way to Manchester on Tuesday evening.

At one point 7,700 people were tracking the plane on Flightradar24.

It was the No1 tracked flight worldwide at that moment in time.

Flightradar24 showed the plane to have taken off from Munich earlier this evening, before landing in Manchester shortly before 8pm.
