Good Morning America co-hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are officially done at ABC News, in what an inside source is calling a “witch hunt,” according to a report by TMZ.
Sources close to the network said that ABC and the two ‘GMA3’ anchors have severed ties, and both will receive payouts per their contracts. The decision allegedly came following after a marathon mediation session Thursday.
Thursday’s Marathon Mediation Session Followed “Witch Hunt” ABC Insider Says
The mediation process was “extremely cautious,” with ABC brass accusing Holmes and Robach of several forms of misconduct.
One of the reported accusations is that Robach had liquor in her dressing room, which the ABC officials called a violation of policy.
Another alleged accusation was that Robach went to the College Football National Championship game last year, and came to work drunk the next day.One source called that “insane,” adding she was simply tired, while another characterized the situation as a “witch hunt.”

Networks Accusations “Ridiculous,” While Other Staffers Said Their Relationship Made Them “Uncomfortable”
Another source close to the situation called the accusation “ridiculous,” adding that several of those bottles had been sent from senior ABC News executives.
The source went on to say those execs had similarly gifted liquor to other on-air talent, making the accusation seem as if was a way to justify getting rid of her.
During Thursday’s mediation, TMZ reports that company brass made it clear that the two did not go about their romance appropriately, and waited to long to disclose it to ABC execs.
Their “behavior in set” was also “uncomfortable” for many staffers, the network reportedly said.
Mediation is far from over, however, as both sides continue to negotiate Holmes and Robach’s exit from ABC.

GMA Hosts’ Departure From Network Is A Complete 180 For ABC’s Initial Response To Scandal
The move marks a complete 180 from the network’s initial response to the workplace scandal, with ABC originally standing by their GMA co-hosts, claiming they never broke any rules, The Shade Room reported early last month.
The pair were relieved on their on-air duties shortly thereafter, in an effort to quell the media storm their affair drudged up for the company.
It was December 2 when both T.J. and Amy were last together on “GMA3” desk.
We don’t yet know what the two will do career-wise moving forward … but sources claim they’ve remained a united front throughout the scandal, TMZ reports.
