CONOR MCGREGOR claims to have been offered a coaching role for the next series of the Ultimate Fighter.
The former two-division champ was one of the team coaches for season 22 of TUF – in which he coached opposite UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber.

And The Notorious claims the UFC brass have approached him about potentially donning his coach’s hat again for the next series of the show, which is set to begin filming in the spring.
He wrote on Instagram: “This is a snap from the original Ultimate Fighter house where I coached vs Urijah Faber.
“This photo was just before the show tho (sic).
“It was right before I won my first world title beating Urijah’s team-mate Chad Mendes around.
“I then went on to coach the famous fight show straight after the fight.
“With a big black eye and a gash, my tricolor and my new and first ever UFC gold belt, I waltzed into the Notorious Fight gym in Las Vegas.

“And I coached my team to victory. Crazy. Some journey.

“I have just been offered to coach this role again. I like it. It is full immersion which is needed.
“I see fighters lining up. I know what’s ahead. I been ready, motherf***ers.”
UFC president Dana White confirmed the coaching offer is indeed real by sharing McGregor’s lengthy post to his Instagram story.
It didn’t take long for lightweight star Michael Chandler to get wind of McGregor being offered a TUF coaching slot, which he’s seemingly also interested in.
Along the looking-eyes emoji, the three-time Bellator 155lb champion tweeted: “Conor coaching TUF?”

McGregor, 34, hasn’t set foot inside the octagon since breaking his leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
The Irishman has undergone a painstaking rehab and a dramatic body transformation during his 18-month hiatus, which he’s hoping to end in the coming months.
During an impromptu Instagram Q&A last October, he said: “I’m going to be back soon, hopefully.
“Early 2023 I’m aiming for. Sometime in that first quarter.
“That will give me a good couple of months [to prepare].
“Once I wrap this up [filming Road House] in a couple of days, get the camp going [for] a good couple of months. And get going.”
The Dubliner, however, will first have to re-enter the United States Anti-Doping Agency’s drug testing pool for a minimum of six months before he can compete.
