Tsitsipas had the Aussie crowd in stitches after mentioning RobbieRex
Tsitsipas boldly made the offer after reaching the semi-finals of the Australian Open.
He had the Australian crowd at Rod Laver Arena in stitches following his straight sets quarter-final win over Jiri Lehecka.
He told interviewer Jim Courier: “Australia is such a great country, I like a lot of Aussie things.
“One of my favourite actresses comes from Australia – Margot Robbie.”
When asked if he was “pitching” himself to Robbie, Tsitsipas pointed to the stands and said: “It would be nice to see her over there one day.”
Courier then pressed further, saying: “Are you officially extending an invitation to Margot Robbie? I just want to be crystal clear here?”
And a grinning Tsitsipas replied: “Absolutely.”
Tsitsipas was previously reported to be in a relationship with Theodora Petalas.

The World No4 first started dating Theodora in 2019 after they reportedly met through family friends in New York.
However, it is unclear if the couple are still together.
Tsitsipas continued his charm offensive with Robbie on Twitter after his quarter-final win in a Q&A session with Eurosport.
The four-time Australian Open semi-finalist said a meal with the five-time Bafta nominated Robbie in front of the famous Acropolis in Athens would be a “dream come true”.
He wrote: “Eating octopus and potatoes at the Acropolis with Margot Robbie?
“It’s like a dream come true, except it’s probably just a hallucination caused by eating too much Vegemite.”
Tsitsipas will take on Karen Khachanov on Friday for a place in the Australian Open final.
In the other semi-final Novak Djokovic takes on unseeded American Tommy Paul.
