My £25k Nissan truck has gone missing after I left it with ‘cowboy’ airport parking firm – no one will help me

A COUPLE has been left devastated after flying back from a holiday to find their £25,000 truck had vanished.

Clint Dennis, 60, and his wife had paid £147 to a meet and greet parking firm at Heathrow airport for while they went on holidays in Australia.

The couple, from Peterborough, had flown out to Oz on December 6 last year – trusting Universal Meet and Greet to look after their Nissan Navarra truck.

But when they returned to Heathrow on January 12, they were horrified when they rang the company to collect their car – and they never answered.

Finally, the couple gave up and forked out £289 in a taxi to get back home – leaving Clint’s wife in tears.

Speaking to the Sun Online, Clint said: “I have contacted them more than ten times, but they don’t give me any solution.

“They say that they’re not responsible for my car. It’s down to the parking firm.

The couple is now devastated after having lost their truck – and fear it was used while they were on holiday as they received a £50 parking fine.

He said: “I’m deflated. I have lost a £25,000 truck and I used my truck for work.”

To make matters worse, Clint said he called the police and they warned they had received reports of 73 cars going missing.

He said he had also been left frustrated when they initially dropped their car off with the firm and workers were late to pick up the Nissan.

Recounting the moment he realised the car had vanished, Clint said: “We phoned the parking firm several times, but their telephone was switched off, and their voicemail was full.

“I had to get a taxi from the airport costing £289 – my disabled wife was in tears.”

When they arrived home, they had a letter from a parking firm asking them to pay £50.

CCTV cameras from a car park in London captured his truck while they were on holiday.

Apparently, his truck was used while they were on holiday.

Clint said he booked the meet-and-greet service through a comparison parking website called Ezybook.

The comparison site and Universal Meet and Greet have been contacted for comment.
