It left Kerry, 42, feeling emotional as she admitted missing out on time with her family.
“Max is having a difficult time at school so it’s hard not being around for that,” said Kerry.
“And then I missed out on a play DJ did at her school,” she explained.
“I was sent videos of her dancing and she looked so cute.”
Alongside bringing up DJ whose dad George Kay died last year, the ex-Atomic Kitten star is a mum to Molly, 21, and Lily-Sue, 19, with Brian McFadden and Heidi, 15, Maxwell, 14, with Mark Croft.
Kerry has had a tough week after becoming fearful for her heath.
She raced to A&E after a concerning condition failed to clear up.
The Atomic Kitten legend, 42, said she was “so worried” when
Kerry told last month that she felt unable to breathe, telling fans: “I feel like I need popping.”
But things became so serious she has now revealed she’s visited hospital to try and get a diagnosis.
The star told the latest edition of New magazine: “I’m really swollen and it hasn’t got any better. I ended up going to A&E as I was so worried about it.
“They’ve told me that they need to investigate further.
“So for now, my doctor at Pall Mall Cosmetics has given me some water tablets which will hopefully help with the swelling.”
