Casemiro stood out once more with a stunning performance in midfield but there was one specific moment that captured fans’ hearts.
Footage caught by a spectator from the stands showed the Brazil international wildly remonstrating whilst on the touchline having received some treatment.
During the short clip, the 30-year-old is seen pushing away a physio and furiously waving to officials to let him back in the action before running onto the pitch.
Once the footage went public, fans took to Twitter to praise the Real Madrid legend’s inspiring commitment to the club claiming that is the attitude that can lead them to trophies.
One supporter tweeted: “Man Utd hit the jackpot with this guy. His mentality and passion is unbelievably insane.”
Another posted: “It means a lot to him, its [sic] straight from the heart.”
A third said: “I love Casemiro so much.”
This fan commented: “True Professional. This type of player understands that every minute counts if you are serious about lifting any trophy.”

And that one stated: “This guy is going to win the league for us.”
Many questioned United’s decision to sign Casemiro for £70million at his advanced age back in August.
However, the Brazilian has proven his doubters wrong with some incredible performances this season as he has amassed a total of 27 appearances across all competitions.
It comes after a turbulent start to the campaign that also saw another major figure in Cristiano Ronaldo being axed after an explosive interview in which he slammed the club.
