According to Marca, Ofer purchased the trophy at a charity event in London back in 2017.
The sum went towards children’s charity Make-A-Wish foundation with Ronaldo personally asking for the piece of gold to be auctioned.

It was the second of five times that Ronaldo won football’s top individual prize with the most recent coming in 2017.
That was during a 10-year period when only him and great rival Lionel Messi won the prestigious award.
Ronaldo didn’t manage to win any silverware with Real Madrid in 2013 as Barcelona were dominating Spanish football, while Bayern Munich won the Champions League.
But the 37-year-old was still producing incredible numbers on a personal level.
In fact, it ended up being the most prolific year of his entire career as he scored 69 goals in 59 games for club and country.
