Their teardrop trailer is known as ‘Foamie’ because it’s made of foam coated in fibreglass.

The couple explain it’s made of a layer of canvas glued onto the foam with tight-bond glue, then covered with a layer of waterproof latex paint.

Prior to this, Tom built a cargo trailer for his Honda Ruckus scooter.

Surprisingly, the interior is comfortable for someone like Tom, who is 1.62 metres tall.

It includes a full-size bed in which Tom can lie down and sleep in comfort.

The indoor kitchen is basic, but it has a sink and some storage space.

They installed another kitchen at the rear, which includes another small sink, a one-burner portable stove, a sizeable countertop and hidden storage for plates.

The towing vehicle is a 1962 Vespa, still wearing its original baby blue paint, which cost around £3k.

Tom made sure that his scooter and caravan were colour matched exactly.

The scooter is powered by a 170cc two-stroke engine that develops 4.5hp.

Tom says that their teardrop caravan and Vespa combo can hit top speeds of 40mph. Plenty fast enough.

The couple’s video on YouTube has had more than 53,000 views and some 200 comments.

Most people in the comments are impressed with their teardrop caravan.
